In the central part of charming Richmond, one of West London’s most charming and prestigious areas, we were delighted to undertake a unique property transformation involving the renovation and extension of a detached house on Montague Road.
This five-storey property, which has remained almost untouched over the years, has undergone a real metamorphosis, combining traditional architecture with modern technical solutions. Thanks to our knowledge efforts, the house has been restored to its former glory, while becoming an ideal place for residents to live.
Transforming the house for the modern family.
The construction project included a ground floor extension, a complete interior refurbishment, as well as roof and façade upgrades. Our team began by removing all internal floors, allowing for a new, more functional layout of the space. We carried out the full construction and finishing of the new roof, while also refurbishing the building’s façade to maintain its classic, historic appearance.
An additional element of the construction project was a new full-width basement extension, which significantly increased the usable area of the house. The installed Premium Timber Windows with high sound insulation and thin profiles were a perfect fit with the elegant character of the residence, while providing comfort and functionality.
Benefits of a spacious kitchen.
The interior of this unique home has been completely refreshed and brought up to date. We created a spacious, modern kitchen, custom-made by the renowned Roundhouse. Precise finishes and the use of top-quality materials have made the kitchen the heart of the home – a space that combines aesthetics with functionality. Such a spacious kitchen creates the ideal environment for family and social gatherings, allowing for casual conversations and time spent together.
System transformation and smarthome solutions.
The entire house is equipped with automated heating, audio and lighting systems that can be controlled from a central point or via a smartphone. These solutions not only enhance living comfort, but also guarantee energy savings and efficiency.
What else have we done as part of the Richmond house transformation work?
As part of the development, we also took care of five luxuriously finished bathrooms and the creation of additional spaces – a playroom and cinema room – which add to the functionality and value of the property.
The culmination of the property transformation was the carefully planned landscaping of the external area. A refurbished façade and roof completed the whole, restoring the property to its former glory in a modern twist.
